China’s Huangshan Mountains are celebrated for their granite peaks, wind-shaped pine trees, and ever-changing fog. As the mist moves through the landscape, the mountains appear and disappear, creating minimalist compositions reminiscent of Chinese ink paintings. These photographs are the result of seven journeys made over ten years, guided by patience and a little luck.
